Hi, I’m Brian and I love to travel and cruise. My wife and I travel as much our full-time jobs (and finances) allow it. Sometimes with kids but sometimes not. My channel originally began with posting a few videos for family to see of some of our trips, however when I posted an Atlanta Airport check-in/walkthrough video it began to get quite a few views. It was then I realized that just like I do, many people like to conduct very thorough research before traveling, particularly flying. Airports can be complex and intimidating, so I decided that everytime that I took a flight that I would video it and create videos of the airport experience for people who wanted to know what to expect. From time to time in between my airport videos I occasionally post other travel related videos.
If you see any videos that you enjoy or find helpful, I would appreciate it if you’d hit that “Like” button and consider subscribing.

Thanks, nice tour, appreciate it.
Hi Mr Ozment I just love your videos and wished you could have traveled to Guam on United airlines. It is just a request so please don’t make it a priority😅
Washington Dallas airport is the same of ATL
Thank you. It is helping me out with finding my way
Thanks for this kind of videos. With this video I can give instructions to my family in its first time in this airport in Transit to Europe
Thanks!
Thank you for this video!!
Simple video but it helped a lot. Thank you so much!
I really appreciate the video. You posted about the walk from the terminal to the train station. I’m a visual person and I liked all the video cues of which way to turn in the airport. Very helpful, thank you very much. As I was reading some of the comments about ticket validations. Are the tickets smaller in the machine now? However, if we purchase it online, the QR code as I will need, correct? I appreciate your time and responding to my questions. Thanks again for the video.
Great video! We have a flight from Atlanta to Amsterdam therefore we have to return our car at the car rental. And then go to the terminal for international flights. Can you describe what route you need to take?
Thanks for your video. I’d like to know if this sounds correct. We’re flying into Atlanta on Swest from NYC, picking up luggage, then taking bags via the Skytrain to the International terminal to Delta check in (bag drop off) for flight to Europe, then through TSA to our gate. Does that sound correct considering our flights are on different carriers? Thanks in advance.
It’s ALMOST correct. The SkyTrain doesn’t go to the international terminal. You will have to take the International Connector Shuttle as seen in this video - ruclips.net/video/YF9Pii11rds/видео.htmlsi=RfG_jE1hWHy3LP_k BUT, there is an alternative to going to the international terminal to check in with Delta. Often Delta will allow you to check in for international flights at the domestic terminal. If they will allow this, you could just pickup your luggage from your Southwest flight and then walk to the Delta counters to check in and drop them off. Delta has allowed me in the past to check in for their international flights at the domestic terminal but just to be sure I would either call or do an online chat with Delta’s customer service and just ask if you can check in & drop your bags for you international flight at Delta’s domestic counters. If Delta allows you to do this it could save a lot of time in waiting for and riding the free International Connector Shuttle.
@@bozy106 thank you so much!
when I arrive from Heathrow airport do I have to catch the train for my luggage? I’ve seen another vid where no train was necessary. Also I have a British passport can i go through the quick line i.e scan passport get photo taken
You shouldn’t have to board the train for your luggage. The train is totally beyond baggage claim and you would have to walk past all the baggage carousels to get to the train. As far as the passport goes, I am uncertain. I have a United States passport and I was able to scan it like you mentioned.
@@bozy106 Thank you 😊
Great video, do you know where the cruise lines buses drop off passengers using their shuttles? I'm planning to ride the Carnival shuttle from Port Canaveral to MCO on a Sunday flight scheduled for 12:25 pm on Southwest Airlines. Want to plan my route
I’m not 100% sure but I believe that the cruise shuttles operate out of level 1 near the car rental area. If you watch this video you see the “GoPortCanaveral” shuttle desk and if I recall correctly the other cruise lines areas are just past this. ruclips.net/video/i3cM-UN_yoQ/видео.htmlsi=v-YNyVApDzYXROuO
If you learn something different, please let me know in case I am asked again! Thanks!
Do you have or know of a video from bus drop off to the airline check in?
nice
This is very well done - ATL is one of the most confusing airports I have ever been to. They have plenty of people to guide and answer any question but they have so many nuances. For example, if you have JUST clear, without TSA pre, even though your gate is at the south checkpoint you need to go to the north checkpoint for JUST Clear, go through security and make your way back to the south side.
You’re correct- there ARE many nuances to ATL. Thanks for the view and the comment!
This video kind help me ,I'm head to Atlanta this July, so is sky train underground or is on the fourth floor, so does stop at any car rentals, or stop at one stop, please explain thank you
The sky train is elevated. The final stop is where ALL of the airport’s rental car providers are located.
Thank you,so is stop at car rentals center
@@johnliu8953 yes. There are only 3 stops - #1 the terminal, #2 the conference center and conference center hotels, and #3 the car rental center
Very good and informative video, particularly for those who are new comers and unable to manage connecting flights from the domestic carriers like United Airlines etc. ❤❤❤❤
Thank you for making this video. Very helpful. I’m going on my first flight in a few days. I’m a little nervous.
I’m glad that the video helped you. Thanks for your positive comment and I hope you have a great trip!
This is the only place online I could find the answer to my question "where is the Southwest baggage services office at MCO?" Thanks!
I’m glad that you found it helpful! Thanks for the view & comment!
Such a small concourse. Expansion is greatly needed. Flew out of D the week of Thanksgiving last year and it was PACKED! Can't wait to see this completed.
Go in this direction , the important thing is gate A B C.
Some of these counters change to different airlines in the evening. Like Qatar, Turkish and British Airways
3:30 pm
Are you going to be there in the international terminal in the Atlanta airport at 3:30 because I am going to be there on a flight on Delta to Amsterdam
Oh WOW! So glad I found this video for my daughter! She's coming out tomorrow with her husband and kids and this video will make them feel so much better about the check in process and where to go! THANK YOU!
What an incredibly helpful video. Thank you so so much for posting it!!!
Are there restrooms in this parking deck?
If they are I’ve never seen them, so my answer is “I don’t think so”. If you find out different please post it on here!
I like how you can literally drive up to your gate at DFW
Thank you from Brazil for this video! ❤
Thank you so much for your video. It helped me understand how to get from point A to point B. Showing us the signs and the walk-through really will help out when we arrive in September. Thank you again. 😊 Grazie Grazie Grazie 😊
I hope you have a great trip! Thanks for the positive comment!
@4:44 you are showing arrival board - I guess you looked at departure board. Just saying. You are departing right?
I'll be using the triangle fir the first time tomorrow. This video was super helpful. Thanks!
Wjere is tweminal I?
If your flight is an international flight it is likely that it’s actually the uppercase letter “i” instead of the number 1.
Yeah, thats what I meant, I forget that it can be confused with a 1 or a lower case L. How do you get to it? Keep up the good content!@bozy106
@@belkisquiroga6007 there is a connector shuttle from the domestic terminal to the international terminal and back. Here is a video on it… Atlanta Airport Domestic Terminal - International Connector Shuttle & Taxi Location ruclips.net/video/YF9Pii11rds/видео.html
thank you. I truly appreciate the info.
great video. thank you atl airpor for building a great parking lot. for many years i been using park&fly, but after using atl west, this is the only lot i use now. the license plate scan is very convenient. i drive through park, jump on a sky train and im in the airport. no more waiting for shuttle bus
Great guide to show how to get to the international departure area from MARTA station! I can see MARTA on the left of the W1 Gate. lol Thanks!!
Sorry if this is a silly question. My reservation says: Departure Terminal: 2 Does this mean that instead of say, going to terminal 5 like you did, I enter terminal 2 instead?
That is correct. Terminal 2 and terminal 5 are physically separate from each other.
THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THIS VIDEO! I'm going to Chicago in a couple of weeks and this was very helpful! Airports are scary!😊
I hope the video helped. Have a great trip!
Thank you for the info, but I have questions ,is all the skytrain stop at levels 4,my terminal is delta airlines, so how do I know which train to take me there, thank you if you share the information
All trains will take you to the same place and then you just follow the signs to delta airlines.
Thank you,so that mean everyone get off the same spot, but it depends which airlines you are supposed to go
@@johnliu8953 correct. The skytrain just has one stop at the terminal and then depending on which airline you just follow the signs to walk to the check in counter for that airline.
Thank you so much for this video! I've flown alone before, but never out of Atlanta, so this is insanely helpful!
❤❤❤❤
Where is the Sky Priority Check in (First Class), for Delta. It's doesn't look to your right, when you enter. Did you see it to your left? First flight from Terminal 5.
If you look at timestamp 1:10 you will see (for just a second as I pan to he left for a moment) the red top of the the only Sky Priority sign that there is at ORD.
@@bozy106 Thanks.....I got a deal from Delta to upgrade to First, for only $100.
super helpful thanks! could you order your uber ahead of time or did you have to be near the pickup area?
What they should consider doing is to expand the F gates greatly, with the blueprint inspiration from Beijing Capital International Airport (BCIA), to reduce walking times to immigration by placing immigration counters in the center of the concourse, and then let international arrivals passengers go down to the Plane Train after immigration. Then, in this case, the E gates could be converted back to a domestic concourse.
Cool video, thanks!
Im flying for the first time next month and im so nerves imma get lost, get stuck in security, or miss the flight! I have no idea where to go or what to do! Idk how to read the board to find my gate & all that 😬 ugh the anxiety!
E to T is about a 1 mile walk. And the subway does go out at times. E to F walking is bad enough! That said, ATL is one of the easiest airports in the world to navigate.
It’s is laid you pretty well once you understand it
Thanks it’s really helpful
Will be arriving there soon and I’ve told my partner to just take a seat cos I could be a WHILE 😅 plenty of walking after a long haul flight
International flights either arrive at one of the E gates or F gates. If it’s an F gate the walk isn’t as long. Just cross your fingers and hope for the best! I hope you have a great trip!
Does all the plane train go to different luggage claims area, I mean ,how do I know which plane to get on aboard?
There is only one large domestic baggage claim stop that serves all of the concourses and domestic flights. There are multiple bag claim carousels in this area with screens above them telling which flights the particular flight is serving. If you are arriving from an international flight you will take a short walk from your plane to the international baggage claim (which is at the opposite end of the airport).
Thank you so much for the video. This helps so much!
Thanks for the positive comment! I’m glad the video was useful to you.
